New Kits for Portishead U8s FC
With the recent restarting of junior football after lockdown restrictions eased, players at the Portishead U8s football team were thrilled with the delivery of brand new kits, courtesy of sponsorship by F P Hurley’s Charity Committee. After a tough year, it is hoped that the new kits will mean that not only do they look the part, but it will boost players’ confidence and pride in playing for their club.
Dan Stevens, Manager at Portishead U8s football team, commented:
“We have 15 very happy U8 players from Portishead Town FC sporting new shirts, generously supported by F P Hurley, who have an office nearby in the town. It’s great to be back out playing in the fresh air and the boys having a smart new kit is a real boost after a long time without football. Thank you to F P Hurley for supporting grassroots sport in North Somerset and helping to keep kids active.”
F P Hurley has a long history of supporting grassroots clubs which are at the centre of their communities. They often rely on donations and generosity of local businesses to survive and we are proud to play a part in this.
