Sion Perkins

We’re excited to welcome Sion Perkins to the Hurley team!

Sion brings with him a solid background in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, holding a BEng (Hons) and working towards obtaining his IEng status this year. He was recently featured in the IET Member Story series, where his contributions to sustainable engineering were highlighted.

With 7–8 years of experience in engineering education and 2.5–3 years in the industry, Sion has developed a strong foundation in both academic and practical aspects of engineering. His passion for the field began in high school and was further ignited during his time with the Engineering Education Scheme Wales (EESW), where he gained hands on experience solving real world engineering problems.

Outside of work he enjoys travelling the world, exploring historical sites, learning about different cultures, staying active at the gym, and competing in esports.
