Health & Safety

In common with all members of the construction industry, health and safety is always at the forefront of our design service. We maintain a clear focus on health and safety from the very early design stages to ensure that each project is delivered safely and successfully for all those involved.

Designer Risk Assessments are carried out on all projects and involve the constant review of access and maintenance strategies throughout the process. We assess the spatial requirements for maintaining plant and equipment, and how access can be achieved. We carefully consider the delivery of plant and equipment to the site as well as the way it will be finally positioned.

All risks to health and safety are thoroughly reviewed, and ‘designed out’ by our experienced designers wherever possible. Any residual risks are identified within the risk register and highlighted through a specific ‘marker’ within the 3D model. Examples include access issues for general maintenance, and the constant review of fire strategy requirements.
